ChatGPT Bot Launched

As to be expected, Google has launched Bard – an AI chatbot created to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Bot and Microsoft’s Bing chatbot.

Announced in a recent blog post, Google is extremely confident that Bard can rival the latest iteration of the ChatGPT bot and provide users with an enhanced experience, driving productivity levels, accelerating ideas and improving performance and creativity.

What can you expect from Bard and can it seriously rival ChatGPT bot?

What Makes Bard Special?

What makes Bard so special? Firstly, it will be constantly updated with more advanced metrics over time, helping it to grow and improve when it comes to predicting responses.

Secondly, unlike the ChatGPT bot, Bard operates as a standalone entity, meaning that although it is separate from Google Search, it can also operate as a complementary tool.

Indeed, this is a strategic move to ensure that AI is incorporated in Google’s strategy moving forward, while solidifying the company’s profits for years to come.

Should the ChatGPT Bot be Concerned?

Google is approaching the rollout of Bard with caution, so the ChatGPT bot shouldn’t be too concerned just yet.

Google has adopted this approach due to concerns over the unpredictability and unreliability of general chatbot technology.

That said, while Google Ads specialists recognize that chatbots can reproduce biased or false information, to minimize this risk, Google allows Bard users to choose from several drafts meaning it is not reproducing the same information consistently.

What Chatbot will Reign Supreme?

In development since 2015, Google – despite being beaten to the post by the ChatGPT bot – is working nonstop to accelerate the launch of a range of new AI products.

From human feedback to enhance its systems to implementing checks and balances to keep interactions fresh and unbiased, Google is aiming to take over the market when it launches Bard and takes its initial steps into the world of AI.
